Administrative Director Emergency Services

Pensacola, FL

JO# 979628

Lead Emergency Services Across a Growing Multi-Site Network

If you’re an experienced Emergency Services leader ready to operate at a true enterprise level, this role offers the scope, influence, and strategic impact that senior ED leaders look for. You’ll oversee a high-volume main Emergency Department alongside multiple freestanding EDs, guiding quality, operations, people, and growth across the entire service line during a period of expansion and transformation.

What the employer offers
This opportunity provides executive-level visibility with direct reporting to senior nursing leadership and a broad operational footprint that includes a main ED and multiple freestanding sites, with additional expansion planned. You’ll lead a well-established leadership structure, supported by a director and on-site managers, while shaping strategy across quality, patient flow, service excellence, workforce engagement, and financial performance. Comprehensive benefits support long-term career stability, professional development, and work-life balance, with relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis. This is a role for a leader who wants scale, autonomy, and the ability to build sustainable systems rather than manage day-to-day tasks.

What they need
The ideal candidate brings at least three years of recent acute care Emergency Department Director-level experience, with strong preference for leaders who have overseen freestanding emergency departments. A bachelor’s degree is required, with advanced education strongly preferred. You should be highly fluent in ED throughput, multi-site operations, staffing and labor management, regulatory readiness, and physician collaboration. This role requires a confident, data-driven leader who can inspire teams, manage complexity, and drive consistent performance across diverse locations.

If you’re ready to step into a high-impact leadership role with room to shape the future of emergency care, let’s start the conversation.
