What they need
They are seeking a confident Emergency Department leader with at least three years of recent acute care ED leadership experience. Manager-level experience is strongly preferred, though high-acuity Charge Nurse leadership may be considered. A BSN is preferred or actively pursued with completion within two years of hire. An active RN license (or compact license) is required, along with ACLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC or PALS within 90 days. This leader will oversee approximately 90 FTEs, manage daily operations for a 24-bed main ED plus hallway beds, and support care delivery in a Level II Trauma setting with volumes around 100 patients per day.
