What’s Needed
You bring at least two years of recent acute care ED charge nurse experience, a current RN license, and strong emergency department expertise. Required certifications include BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 90 days, and TNCC and ENPC within one year. You’ll oversee paramedics, techs, and support staff across a 64-bed, high-volume Level II trauma ER that routinely handles Level I cases, averaging 180 patients daily and 63,000 visits annually. This evening-shift leadership position runs Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to midnight, with call rotation every three weeks.
