What They Need
Academic Foundation: A mandatory Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred.
Proven Leadership: A minimum of 3 years of emergency services experience coupled with 3+ years of progressive leadership experience as an ED Director or a high-performing ED Manager within a large acute care hospital.
Clinical Credentials: Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, alongside active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and PALS or ENPC.
Strategic Execution: Seamless capabilities in personnel management, resource allocation, quality assurance (PI) metrics, and navigating complex regulatory and compliance standards.
